Looking at the photo of the man with the tie, in the white shirt and standing in front of this beautiful smoke silver 1988 560 SL, he appears to have a contented look on his face. Flipping the photo over, I see it's dated July 13th 1996, back in a time where I had to drop off the film at the photo shop to be developed. I took this photo in front of the Wilmington, Delaware Mercedes-Benz ,Porsche and Audi dealership, where I work for 12 years as a sales representative.
Ron loved cars and he took good care of all his cars and garage kept his classics. The original odometer statement shows I delivered it with 43,342 miles. Now, only showing 51,565 miles. The burgundy leather interior only shows slight wear on the drivers booster. Mercedes was not know back then for good systems, the original Becker radio with cassette works fine. The exterior original paint is flawless. Hardtop included as in all Sl's. The soft brown top is in excellent condition. What a magnificent example of a true classic that runs beautifully.
